Economic Relief?

After 50 years

Do you hold your breath a lot?
Dear Dotsie,
February 15, 2009

"To love someone is to love their potential into reality."
Anonymous

In the spirit of Valentine's Day, the above quote caught my eye. May we love others so that every ounce of their potential oozes from them. And equally important, may we recognize the people in our lives who are helping us reach our potential, our reality. And lastly, if we aren't feeling loved, may we seek to find people at midlife who are willing to build us up as we do the same for them.

I continue to hear that members of the NABBW are enjoying their subscriptions to More magazine, the national magazine for women 40+. If you're a member and still haven't registered for your FREE subscription, please email us.

We are pleased to announce that Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG), one of the largest integrated hotel companies in the world, is now part of the NABBW member benefits program. My membership packet arrived yesterday and I opened it immediately.  What I found inside was amazing!  I loved learning about all the great ways I can get involved and meet others in the association.
I also appreciated your long list of benefits- what a huge value you offer for my small investment. You did a great job explaining it all.  And the extra goodies were fun, too. Thank you.

: A much-anticipated "travel guide" for the maturing modern woman making her way into the Age of Elegance.

Entering the Age of Elegance: A Rite of Passage & Practical Guide for the Maturing Modern Woman by Chloe Jon Paul

Thirty-eight million baby boomer women have already entered the Age of Elegance, which is a new stage of life with a new identity. More will follow; yet many of these 40+ women are making this journey without any real advance planning.  Many of them don't even think of themselves as "elegant" but this transition into the second half of their lives can take place with style and grace.

Now think F-A-S-T:  *format   *approach   *style   *tempo
These are the key elements which make this book original.  It is written as a travel guide filled with valuable information that will whet the reader's appetite to explore resources in detail on the topics featured in the book.  The Table of Contents provides such curiosity-evoking subtitles as Change Your "Oil Filter, The FGA Quotient, The F-Word You Need to Use, The 10 Commandments of Aging Motherhood, and Think MSN, Beyond Support Pantyhose, and Just heard It through the Grapevine.

NABBW member and author has networked with more than 25 leading women's organizations across the nation and feedback on the book has been overwhelmingly positive.

Chloe Jon Paul is the author of numerous published articles and What Happens Next: a Family Guide to Nursing Home Visits...and More.  She has lectured across the country to professional and family caregiver groups.  She also holds the title of Ms. Maryland Senior America 2003.
