I read an awesome article in USA TODAY on Jan. 9, 2003. The article was written by Robin Gerber who is a senior scholar at the University Of Maryland's Academy of Leadership. She is also the author of LEADERSHIP THE ELEANOR ROOSEVELT WAY.

The article spoke of women leaving the corporate world and migrating back to the home-front to raise their children. While on the home-front they have found the best training for returning to work when the kids are raised! Many of the skills required for leadership are the same at home and at work!

Qualities mentioned were:
-warmly leading
-interpersonal skills for dealing with all kinds of personalities
-multitasking
-delegating
-negotiating
-focusing on the positive

Of course this is nothing new to us. It's just great to see it in print in a major newspaper.
