Geocaching At Allegany

Went geocaching, for hours and hours,
At Allegany State Park, amongst fields and flowers.

Was searchin' for hidden treasure, ya see,
Experiencing pure pleasure, the family'n me.

Thirty scavenger hides, we found here and there,
As much fun as ridin', a buckin' bronco that's bare.

Before long, we'll have posted 3,000 geo finds,
The three of us like doin', stuff the same kind.

I thank The Lord for, His new technology gifts,
Which take you outside, rambin' this ecology, of His.

Saw the most beautiful bird, there today.
Only in an aviary, is such wonder at play.

Vividly blue, with a velvety hue,
Bet you'd love it's awesomeness, too.

An audubon book, up on the shelf,
Says the Indigo Bunting, I saw for myself.

And I thought, Aw what truth He doth declare,
"Beauty for Ashes," He bestows everywhere.

Friends, I contend, I sure would be done,
If not for The Holy Spirit, Father'n Son!
