My story, renamed "Where's the Cow Manure?" has been published in the current issue of Greenprints Magazine.

You can read an earlier version here:

I love it!
I enjoy your writing, Robin. I'll always remember the Banana story. This one is right up there with it.

TVC15,

A VERY cute story - that deserved to be published.

To Moo Poo. OMG JJ, you're a prize if I ever heard one!!! I swear I wish I lived next door to you! The neighborhood would surely be ruined.

Congratulations! This is one of my favorite magazines; all the articles are top drawer.

Cute story too. "The cow manure is right outside" bypassed my frontal lobes as well...huh? Of course I use horse manure so that's part of the problem...maybe. Horse manure makes for a sweeter tomatoe, much more so than cow manure.

I had to laugh out loud this a.m. since this was brought back up...I called my sister who lives on a farm. They have cows, donkey's and Mr. Cows...or to you people who know, I think they are called bulls...anyhoooo....I was going to visit her.

She said, "You may want to postpone that trip and wait until the Chicken Poop smell is gone."

I didn't have a clue what she meant cause they don't have chickens....She enlightened me. Seems that farm people use it to fertilize the ground.

What I want to know is who collects it? And you thought YOU had a bad job...geeish.

Chicken manure is too nitrogen rich for me! If it's not well rotted, it will absolutely and totally burn up everything it touches.

These farm folk use horse and sheep manure. I can't imagine buying manure when I already have loads of good, well rotted manure.

Dirty jobs --- love that show!

I know its perfectly logical and necessary but the words tomatoe and manure in the same sentence makes me cringe....yuk! JJ there is no smell on the planet quite like chicken poop especoally when they are hearded into small surroundings, the poor things.
