KAY B Member Registered: 05/14/05 Posts: 243 Loc: Long Island, New York	I let my puppy out this morning & I checked that the gates were closed. THEY WERE--I HAD TO CLOSE ONE MYSELF!!! Afew minutes later my neighbor calls me & is yelling to hurry up--my puppy is running up the block!! (after chasing 2 women up her front lawn!) It took me & 6 neighbors to get her back to our house!!! And then she layed on the livingroom floor with the bone she was lured with!!! Caught her sitting in the bay window yesterday-- and today she made a break for it!!!! We bought locks to put on the other side of the gates--TOP AND BOTTOM!!! I don't know how she got out of the yard....the gate was wide open!!!

I had my dogs escape once and that was the last time. The stupid UPS guy just opened the gate and walked right in leaving it wide open. Now no one can get in (or out) of my yard. Let then knock at least my babies are safe....I have fostered countless poor animals that have gotten out and they just run and run until they can't run anymore and are terribly lost. Some we have never found the owners either. Be safe rather than sorry...

We had someone's poodle in our yard that wouldn't leave & the landscapers thought it was ours!!! Hopefully we won't have to worry about chasing our little monster down the block ever again!!!
