Mom likes Mickey Gilley. I didn't care for that one. I did like the Lawrence Welk shows and I thought it would be sooo boring. It was anything but! The Oak Ridge boys were there and I really enjoyed them. JJ

I've bought just about every album, cassette and CD she ever made (and unfortunately lent many of them out over the years and never saw most of them again!) But my all-time favourite Christmas CDs are her three Christmas albums. Especially "A Christmas to Remember". Not enough wind in these old lungs today to do that... I have a Christmas CD all songs sung by Andre Bocelli and every single one chokes me up, what a voice this tenor has. I don't know why but I think it might have something to do with my parent's divorce. It doesn't matter who sings it or what kind of mood I'm in when I hear it, I always get teary.

I think of that part of the movie where the old man is reunited with his son and they are outside hugging each other with the snow falling around them. A wonderful Christmas movie, guess it belongs in the movie forum though.
