Kay I have also become a big country music fan!! The new stuff, though - Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, etc.

Ladybug, does your husband have his old Dylan LP's? Some of them are worth some $$. I don't think you can be too old to be a Dead Head!! I still love some of their stuff...just not as loud!

Oh baby its Mustang Sally for me to beboop to in the car and anything on the Oldies But Goodies Station....I also get all mushy when they play Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White...fell in love to that song with my one true soul mate....It's amazing to me and always has been the part music plays in our lives. Happy times are remembered and new memories are made... [Big Grin]

I have a crush on Toby Keith. The CMA Awards are being held in NY on Tuesday and he's up for entertainer of the year. I'm praying for him!

Me too, Dianne, he is so tall and he has the sexiest grin!!! Keith Urban is a doll, too.
and the lead singer for Rascal Flatts has a voice that goes right to my soul...

You can find me singing out loud to the Righteous Brothers, any and every time they hit the oldies station.
Jefferson Airplane used to play at the skating rink when I lived in Fresno... Grace Slick.. old lord won't you buy me a mercedes benz?
Evil ways...Santana. Van Morrison, the Yardbirds... you couldn't be living in California and not love the Beach Boys.
Do you believe in magic???
Just a Lovin Spoonful.

My daughter thinks only the 80's music rocks... nothing will ever compare to the 60's.

My husband does have some unopened Bob Dylan LP's. He did sell several reel to reel tapes of many different singers on e-bay. He got $110.00 for an unopened reel to reel Petula Clark. He also got some three figure prices for Neil Diamond and some Beatle reel to reels. These are hard to get because reel to reels haven't been produced for many years. He also sold the reel to reel tape deck for a decent price. We had buyers all across the globe wanting Neil Diamond reel to reels. He sold 92 reel to reels and several more for relatives.

I am a firm believer that just about everything I ever needed to learn outside of the Bible was found in the songs of the Eagles!

Sweet Caroline brings back memories of a sweet summer of '69 romance. Whenever I hear it I think of him.

The Eagles are my all time favourite! Outside of them is one song by the great Louis, 'What a wonderful world'.
