Writegirl- Do you think pop beads will come back? [Big Grin]

Good one, Nancy. I forgot about the Limbo Rock. I wonder what it would be like to be able to do that again?? [Confused] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I'll be away until Monday. If I see any pop beads in Ogunquit, I'll buy them. Last night in my writing group, we were talking about Hostess Snowballs and then we wanted them. Nostalgia is so contagious.

Louisa ... funny you should mention Snow Balls ... that's one thing I treat myself to over here ... helps me from not being so homesick.

By the way, when I see Ogunquit (though I haven't a clue how to pronounce it) I think of the book/movie, "The Stand," cos some of it takes place in and around there if I'm not mistaken.

You know, I wonder if there's a web site that sells nostalgic toys. That would really be cool.

Blessings, Francine

I went to catholic school so what I remember is the nuns roaming around making sure everyone was a foot apart and no one was dressed as an"occasion of sin"

I went to a public high school that had more draconian dress code rules than most Catholic schools [Eek!]

Of course I had pop-it beads! I think I was a bead person from the word Go [Wink]
