Remember it, you mean we're suppose to remember it too. Yee gads, I'm lucky to have recognized myself in the photo but for the life of me I can't remember it... But then I had amnesia once, or was it twice????? [Confused] [Wink]

I recall something fun we did on Christmas Eve. We lived near a few small lakes where we'd ice skate in the winter. On Christmas Eve the neighborhood association held a Christmas Caroling event. Evryone would appear and sing around the lakes for about an hour or so.

Dad took us while Mom polished off the finishing touches for Santa.

He also took all the kids to the market in the city on Christmas Eve. We'd buy all kinds of goodies for the holidays. Mom was at home wrapping, cleaning, and organizing while we were out having a good time.

Another reason I appreciate Mom more as an adult! [Big Grin]

I bet your mom was thrilled to have the time alone to do all the things she needed to do before Christmas. I use to be a happy camper when my husband took the boys out to shop or sled, whatever and gave me the time alone I needed to wrap and organize etc.... [Big Grin]

I'm a little late with this, but defintely sat on Santa's lap. Most of the Christmas cards my mom sent out had us 3 kids with Santa. It's confusing now, because the cards she sent out would have pictures taken the year before - I have to remember that the 1959 christmas card's picture was really taken in 1958. So does that make me a year older or younger???
And I just got to sit again on Santa's lap last week at a support group party...I don't remember Santa being so skinny...or I am just that much bigger?!
