Ha ha, I thought we had to put Queenie in a TP(TeePee) for a while...don't you think that's a better custom. Put us in in a round room and we'll never get cornered.
OK, I'm having a PMS (Pre Menopausal Spurt)! Ha ha, Bawl, sniff, chuckle, bawl. Sheesh, will it ever end!

Well, Chick, at least there's lots of T.P. around here for whatever spurts...

I remember neighborhoods being T.P'd for high school graduations when I was a kid. They don't do that anymore but they still soap up cars.

Kids still TP here on Moving Night/Mischief Night, the night before Halloween. They also soap windows and throw eggs. Such lovely children. It typically happens near the middle schools.

Have you guys figured out that I lovvve to laugh and am a jokester at heart?

One Holloween evening (however you spell that)...my famiy and I made a visit to friends of ours who had just returned from the mission field (they had been there about 10 yrs). The were NOT familuar with the American tradition of "TPing"

While I sat on the front stoop with the family -- my hubby and son went off to their back yard to share the blessed t.p with their yard.

I'm sitting there making small talk - and their teen son comes home. He goes to the back door to let the dog out...and sees the t.p strung EVERYWHERE. He's like, "MOM, what's this?"

I quietly chose that time to make my departure and to continue trick or treating with my kids.

WELL, we get home to our house -- and there is T.P. EVERYWHERE! We had REALLY tall trees in out yard - and they got the rolls way up there. Our friends figured out "our joke" and got us back quickly.

Oh what fun to watch the t.p. melt off the trees with the lovely maryland freezing rain!

TPing is quite attractive when done properly. There is an art to it.

The only thing I have ever seen done with TP besides the thing its made for was during a wedding shower we made wedding dresses out of it and the winner got a prize....so comical. [Big Grin]

tping is a venerated tradition where I grew up but now the better thing to do is when someone goes off on vacation or a honeymoon or you just want to generally congratulate them and know they aren't home you decorate their lawn etc whiththose high class ever popular pink flamingoes
