I just read an article in a magazine that states: At least 1/3 of the population has swallowed a small spider during the night while asleep. Yuk,I hope not!! [Eek!] I can't get close enough to that wasp nest to spray anything at it but it doesn't seem to be growing. There are around 6 wasps from what I can see. I hope the bug man gets here on Tuesday. I keep having nightmares about them and now I suppose I'll dream of a big spider crawling into my mouth, yee gads, whats next? [Roll Eyes] Does anyone like bugs? When I meet the Lord I will ask him "what were you thinking?" [Confused]

I'm cautious of bugs, but not terrified. I figure they're just part of God's creation. Without them, birds and other animals would have nothing to eat so we tolerate each other.
My house is on a small acreage and is surrounded by trees so there's lots of bugs. I don't spray because I'm more afraid of chemicals than I am of bugs.
However I have used a wasp spray that is available from the grocery store to kill the wasps in the mailbox. It has a very long stream so you can spray and run. Kills instantly too. Can't remember the name, but it's in a black can.

These tiny Wasps may as well be buzzards. I am so afraid of them. I called the bug man again and would you believe you have to have an appointment he's so busy. I made one and will just avoid them for a few more days. If I didn't have an allergy to bug venom I might be more tolerant, but I am so I'm not, LOL [Big Grin] I'm still going to ask the good Lord what was he thinking when he created these useless things. [Confused]

Finally my wasp problem has been put to an end. The bug man was here today and would you believe that this tiny golf ball sized wasp nest had 13 wasps inside. I was shocked and relieved when he showed me their dead bodies. Now I can once again sit on the front porch and let my animals roam around. I shudder at the thought of those vile insects.... [Eek!]

Chatty, so glad the bug man finally came.

I know how much you love animals. I also know you are allergic to bees, but do you like bugs? I would think that if you're the type that loves animals so much, you are probably the type who picks up spiders and throws them outside to live. Is that so? [Wink]
