Saw this with my 10 year-old God-son and it was great. It was refreshing to see a family movie with the theater full of laughter.

This might be a good outing for Memorial Day weekend with the family if the weather is anything like it is in Baltimore...MORE rain...!

I have been wanting to see this movie since I first saw the previews. It looks hilarious. Might be fun to take the grandchildren to, also.

Have any of you ever heard of SandStar Videos? It is an organization devoted to bringing quality children's videos to people's homes. I have purchased several videos from them and they have all been high quality videos. I received two the other day. One is called "Miracle Dogs" and stars Kate Jackson and Ted Shackleford. I watched it this morning and was delighted by it. Its about a boy who rescues some dogs from destruction by the local pound and hides them in the basement of the hospital where both his parents work. When the dogs escape from the basement and begin visiting the patients, the doctors are amazed by the miraculously fast recovery the patients have. Four of the dogs are puppies and are so cuddly, it makes you wish they were yours. I would recommend this movie for all ages.
The second movie is "Race To Space" and stars James Woods and Annabelle Gish. Its about a scientist and his son who get involved in a space flight with the first chimpanzee to go to space. Along the way, they discover a plot to sabotage the flight and become attached emotionally to the chimp. I haven't watched it yet but I'm sure it will be a good one too.
You can see and order a list of films from www.familyfilms.com

I saw a lot of movies this weekend because of the rain. Two of them were great movies for gilrs to see: Real Women Have Curves and Bend it like Bekcham. The curves one is out on video and his about a hispanic girl who has to deal with a mom who tells her shes fat all the time and shouldn't strive to go away to school. She doesn't losse hope and becomes a very strong young women.

Bend it like Beckam is in the theathers and is about an young Indian girl who wnats to play soccer, but her family wants her to become a lady. It is very good.

Bend it like Beckham is worth the ticket price in my opinion. A great movie to take your daughters to.
