There isn't a music topic, so I thought I would put it here. Ani DeFranco, a folksy somewhat political singer, just release her new album, Evolve. It's release by her own company (no longer a slave to record labels) Righteous Babe Records. I think she's pretty cool and I like the idea of supporting a women who thumbed her nose at what the record labels thought she sould do and stuck it out and did it her way.
