My friend is writing a story for Woman's Day called "When Good Things Happen to Good People."

SHE NEEDS A WOMAN WHO IS IN HER EARLY 40S --OR YOUNGER-- (age is critical) WHO HAS DONE GOOD DEEDS FOR HER COMMUNITY AND THEN RECEIVED SOME TYPE OF REWARD (A BIG DONATION, AN AWARD THAT CAME WITH MONEY, MORE VOLUNTEERS, ETC.) THAT HAS ALLOWED HER TO DO EVEN MORE GREAT WORK.

For example, one of the women she is profiling is the executive director of a nonprofit agency that provides legal services to senior citizens. She's worked with a skeleton crew and has only been able to threaten legal action in severe cases--she simply doesn't have the manpower or money to actually take cases to court. When a local law firm (which is also one of the largest in the country) heard about her plight, they said, "We will provide legal services pro bono." As a result, she can now help seniors who are taken advantage of by others and actually reclaim some damages for her clients.

If you know someone who fits this description I'd love to see her get credit in Woman's DAy magazine. Wouldn't you? Please let me know ASAP by emailing me at dots@boomerwomenspeak.com.

Thanks for helping a fellow writer.

Dotsie, unfortunately, at the moment, I do not know of anyone that falls within these guidelines. I have no doubts though that there are many people out there that qualify and hopefully you will find someone for this inclusion.
