songbird, I enjoyed your article about the empty nest. I also believe in seasons of life. I'm trying to embrace each one as they unfold. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the Empty Nest piece too girlfriend.

I especially liked your comment at the end of it which said just because they leave the nest doesn't mean you stop being a Mother. I liked that. Nice and comforting! And just good old common sense. You go girl.

I really liked your piece about the empty nest. There was something very comforting, as I read it.

I also liked your other article with the line, "In the stillness of His Presence." I've always liked the line, 'Be still and know that I am God.'

That phrase always calms me down and I know that no matter what comes my way--what anxieties, fears or uncertainties--that He will lead me towards goodness and joy. All I have to do is turn my 'everything' over to Him and He will provide.

Thank you so much for such beauty and wisdom!

I wass just looking at a catalog that came in themail yesterday and contemplated buying a plaque that said, "Be still and know that I am God". I need that it glued to my forehead! [Big Grin] Maybe they sell stickers with that verse! I decided not to spend the money!

Dotsie, don't glue the sticker to your forehead. Hide it in your heart.
Sounds easier than it is, doesn't it.
