Dots,
You have GOT to meet them at the airport dressed as the Farkles. That would be perfect, just perfect!!! It would be one of those things where it could turn into "who is going to be outfarkled" like those goofy gifts that get passed back and forth over and over again. Man, what I would give to see you guys dressed as Farkles waiting at the airport.
Once a friend and I went to a mystery/murder dinner dressed in period 1920's costume. Then afterwards we went to the movies and stood in line like that. Oh my gosh! The reactions we got. No one asked us about our costumes (they were pretty authentic...no fringy flapper dresses) but they were all saying things to each other and we could overhear there comments. They felt so sorry for our lack of style and our wierdness. I heard one of them say something about my shoes which were actually from the twenties. It was pretty funny. (Oh and we won the prize for solving the mystery)

Actually JJ I hadn't heard of it before either.I'm from Canada aye. Anyway I researched all of the internet....No luck. I re- read Dotsies post and figured it was a Nerd type and when TVC replied I thought they were Nerd Types from Philly and...maybe N Carolina...? I wasn't quite sure on that one.

Ok ladies that makes me and JJ. Anyone else?

The Farkles are from a comedy skit from a television show from way back when I was young. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the program. I think they were on weekly but I don't think it was their own show. They were nerdy and very funny. They all had red hair (wigs) girls in pig tails and dressed well, hillbilly nerdy!

Herman was the idiot that grabbed his peewee in the theatre, got caught and destroyed his career...You were part right, hehehe!!!

Well my friend Pat and I decided what our costumes will be for the big halloween party out this way. We are going as the "before and after" of Anna Nicole Smiths huge weight loss. Everything exactly the same except before shes a fatty, that'd be me and then a glamour girl, that'd be Pat...Ho hum! [Eek!]

One year my cousin went as Mimi that fat woman on The Drew Carrie Show? I hated to tell her, but she looked just like her!
