How terrible that must have been for her not to have been there. And R vet charges $100.00 just to walk in the door on Saturday and Sunday. I got sick on vacation and had 2 go 2, 1 of those independent Health Care Centers. Our Aussie, who was my partner's dog before I met him, died while my partner was out of town. I felt so guilty that I had missed the signs of something being wrong. But in the end, what he had was an agressive cancer and there was no treatment, so even if I had seen the signs, he would have died anyway. And Spud is back to his usual lovable, obnoxious self.
