Freelancegal Registered: 10/17/09 Posts: 17 Loc: Florida	I have a writing contest on my website which will end on December 31, 2009. I am looking for essays regarding women's views and/or experiences pertaining to marriage. Please check it out at tohaveorhavenot.com. I am always interested in entering contests myself, but I didn't see anything recently posted. One thing I will say is please do not think members here are not responsive if you don't get a lot of replies. Sometimes the gals are away on vacation, some have full time jobs, others have obligations that take them away from the boards, on and off...but it doesn't mean that they don't READ everything. So not to worry if you don't see a lot of replies...we get around to reading and responding when we can. So far, one thing I see loud and clear from many contributors is how children changed their marriages. Lots of men who love their children, also felt extremely jealous of the attention the kids got because they took the attention away from themselves. I have extended the deadline for my writing contest to December 31, 2009. That way they can be as candid as they like without fear someone might see it and sue them. I'm sure some of it is due to lack of time, but I also think that some women may be afraid to actually put down in writing what they really feel. I hope you can find time to do it.
