Two weeks ago and for the very first time since school started, my grandson failed to perfect his weekly spelling test. When told of the result, my daughter asked him: "Why? You went over your spelling words so well last night. Have you not been concentrating? What occurred since then? What? What?" My grandson replied: "That's exactly it, Mum. I mispelt "occurred" and the test happened, it's gone and it's in the past." LOL! I send him a £1.00 every time he comes home with a perfect test result. I still sent him £1.00 for the quick retort and a grasp of synonyms. _________________________ <><
