Can anyone tell me anything about evening primrose oil? Does it really help? What does it really help?

Speaker, thanks for the information.

Hearme, I can vouch for it. I take it for fibrous cystic disease and it helps keep the cysts smaller and less painful before menstruation.

I think it's supposed to do everything including polishing your furniture [Wink]

I believe it's good for PMS, water retention, etc. but I took it and it gave me really strange dreams or nightmares. So did Binko (sp) so now, I just stick to Fish Oil and Niacin, proven to reduce high cholesterol.

Thanks for the info. Especially, from Dotsie concerning the fibrous cystic disease. Is there a lot of pain with this? I think I read somewhere that there is great discomfort?
