Following you to see how Dad is.

I had no idea you didn't come to the states until 1995. So this means Sophia was born in Germany? Is Heidelberg near Edelwiess?

Where did you meet Richard? Are't I nosey?

Cathi,
I'm so sorry to learn of this. My own grandmother, Mamaw, was 98 when she passed. I spent many, many nights with her. She was so special, just like your grandmother.

They've left us with a gift I believe; a gift to love others unconditionally, just as they loved us.

You have my condolences.

May your Grandmother rest in eternal peace! May the many memories you have of her, give you comfort.

My own dear Uncle Johnny passed away last week and I have been out of town for the services.

It's a strange feeling to find out that out of my growing-up family, I am now the oldest surviving relative at almost age 59. (I'm torn btween eating carrots only, or binging on all the chocolates I want, for as long as I can.)

Your family is in my prayers!

Good idea, Chatty. I keep all my deceased loved ones close to my heart, and I try to live a simple life filled with good memories, good conversation, and good food. (everything in moderation ..... most of the time)
