Humlan (and others!)...thanks for understanding when I was posting in different places. I wasn't sure where to post so I posted in the first place that seemed appropriate. One advantage, and disadvantage, to overthinking was one was a "request for prayers" and one was "good news"...I appreciate your patience and kindness.

We did have a good weekend and I'm glad I had been on some supplementation ... given how tired I am at the moment, I probably would have been bedridden without the gracious care of the holistic MD I've been working with for about 2 months! One of the challenges of suffering from adrenal exhaustion is that it doesn't take much to throw you into a real tailspin. The constant stress of the last few months left me without many reserves.

I'm worn...the emotional upheaval, as I'm sure you can tell from my posts, has been tremendous. We did clear a lot of doo doo this weekend and I'll admit I've enjoyed being with him AND it has been a rough road.

Now I get to see how we move forward and deal with my son wanting to move someplace else and shift my focus to getting some billable work. So, lots of prayers appreciated and lots of prayers going to the women in this amazing group. I haven't taken the time to start back through the threads and see what I've missed and will do so a little bit at a time each day.

Hi Dotsie

Thank you, so much, so much more than I can say. One of the things that kept me going was the support I was getting from this group. The other was my belief in the fact that I was, at least momentarily, with a very scared little boy. Which was truth AND I had lost my compassion for that little boy, especially since I was fighting my own demons and fears.

The biggest lesson I've learned from this is how living from fear, which we were both doing, destroys everything in its path. I've lived from fear so much of my life and I have the proof to say it doesn't work well...so why do I do it again and again? Arghghgh!!!!!!!!!!!

And even as we were finding our way back to faith in each other and in love, I found myself questioning "does he really mean he is ready to tackle life together!". Blast this deep thinking stuff anyway (grin). My mom may be right when she said "sweetie, stop thinking so deep and so hard and picking on every nuance." of course, she has always been able to do that and I have always been the deep, deep thinker of the bunch. Ah, balance, once again my lesson is in balance and in trust.

I have a trilogy of Native American tattoos across my shoulders: a woman, a warrior and a dream catcher. They are a visual representation of my journey toward balance and a belief in the power of our dreams. (long story as to how I came to have them...at 44!) and there are days I think I should have them tattooed on my face so I can have a visual reminder of what my stated journey and beliefs are.

And, once again, I step on the path and continue learning. Knowing one of my great lessons is learning how to reach out for help and support, which you, and the women you've attracted, provided in more ways than I can count.

Mama Red, I'm glad issues are being discussed in your home and moved forward in a positive direction.

I can also be over-analytical to the point of wallowing. My best coping technique? Saying STOP IT! out loud and physically moving my carcass somewhere else. Sometimes you have to break out of the rut, and thinking about ...what to think about... is counter-productive. You'll just think more about why you have to think about something else which you're still stuck in. Physical/vocal action breaks you out.

It's like sitting in a chair and thinking about how you need to turn the light on, 10,000 ways to turn the light on, maybe if you had better reading glasses? -- when all you have to do is 1. relocate carcass; and 2. flip switch.

Seriously -- you're really doing well in all this, considering. We're all proud of you, and relieved that the worst possible scenario -- has not been. Continued blessings.

Hi Meredith

I got a big laugh out of your post. Sounds like you know me well! The funny part is I am blessed with a lot of knowledge of simple steps...like getting off my tuckus and flipping the switch...and can draw it up in a heartbeat when someone else needs it! When I get in the middle of the doo doo pile, I forget the simple steps.

Guess that is pretty normal and that is why I am learning to reach out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for being there, thank you for the continued blessings. The utterly bizarre thing is that what we found with each other on day 1 seems to be back...and it is wonderful and better in many ways. My take (although I don't know if he would agree) is that because the initial connection has been tested and is now stronger!

Lots of love and hope you are safe!
