Today I cooked Alaskan King Crab Legs, made a salad, corn-on-the-cob, bakes beans, french fries, two batches of brownies, and a Red Velvet Cake for my youngest son's b/day. I had both sons here with their respective families, kids hollering, running through the house, and carrying on...laughter, jokes played on everyone, and hugs exchanged.
I am blessed.
ps--when they say KING...they mean it. Take a look at these...oh, and don't hate me cause I'm beautiful...who has time for makeup?

Oh my, those are the biggest crab legs I have ever seen... Just one and 1/2 would do me for a meal... both my DH and I love king crab legs... they're just too expensive. When the stores here put them on sale, they've been around awhile. We splurge every so often and get a couple of pounds, but gosh... they just DO NOT look like those!!!! Were they as good as your company?

JJ, it is refreshing to hear about your joyful day. I've just begun collecting recipes from BWS. Do you have a recipe for Red Devil Chocolate Cake? Please?

Chick, you're adorable.
JJ, don't forget to feed our little Chickadee now and then...
What's IN that moat anyway??!! Enquiring minds want to know!

Ah, but JJ, I've learned how to speak alligatorese. Well, not exactly, but I do speak squirrelese, so how much harder can it be to speak alligatorese?!
Do alligators like walnuts?
Hmmm, me thinks the alligator would probably rather have the walnuts INSIDE of the squirrel. My poor little prodigal squirrel! Nope, no way - I've just decided that I'm definitely not into moating...even if Daniel DID survive the lion's den, methinks JJ's moat would have made a better story (no offense, God, just kidding).
Anyway, I prefer to eat than to be eaten.
Blame this entire post on too much MSG.

Are you all sure they aren't just a bunch of remote controlled animated fossils? Has anyone actually turned one over to rub its belly? Queen has you so afraid of 'Chompers,' 'Bits' and 'De La LizzArd' (the others having names, too). And the moat, we need to all pitch in to get her a automatic pool cleaner suitable for removing scum from a moat. Then we can fill it full of root beer... and I'll contribute enough Blue Bell for root beer moat floats.

If a boat won't float on a moat float, one might get soaked.

But what if the boat in the moat float is made of oak? Oak floats. But does an oak boat float in the moat float? What about soaked oak? Does a soaked oak boat float in the moat float?
Questions you've always wanted to ask but never had a safe place to ask them.

If the boat in the moat float is made of oak, and the oak makes it float, we would hope the oak boat would float even if the oak were soaked. But, if a goat got a hold of the oak boat before placed in the float moat, how many folk would be end up in the moat float?

Ha ha we are on the same lines... I don't mean to gloat, I read what you wrote, yes a boat made of oak , it will float. But a goat in the moat not only will float, I will vote that his throat will fill at his will, all the float he can drink in the moat. Yes you may quote what I wrote of the goat and the moat filled with float, along with the boat made of oak......

I'd like to be like the goat in the moat float, to fill at will until I float, even soaked, in the moat like an oak boat. What a thrill to fill at will and still float!

Then don't gloat at what we wrote. It's good that you think a boat made of oak will float. But the goat wouldn't be in the float moat. He'd be the one who ate the oak boat, after which he might vote that his throat fill at his will, all the float he could drink from the moat. We'll quote what you wrote of the goat and the moat filled to float the boat made of oak......Sure, we'd like to be like the goat, in or out, of the the moat float, to fill at will until able to float, even soaked, in the moat like an oak boat. What a thrill to fill at will and still float... unless we float in the moat because of much bloat.

Meredith, I love that you love lizards. They are gentle creatures unless of course a member of the Cumotto Dragons in the Phillipines that are now eating the villagers, NO KIDDING...
The villagers won't kill them because they worship them for some unknown reason, and over time they have multiplied and are now eating their worshipers, NO kidding, this is a fact I read in a magazine while waiting for my hair to dry in the beauty salon. Two of these 40 pound dragons walked right into a village school and grabbed and ate a 7 year old child. Its time to start erraticating these ugly, dangerous beasts now!!! Worship, my Aunt FANNY!!!
Oh and JJ, to get your goat, the aligators now won't float, take note, on their teeth we've added a coat of rubber to protect visitors to your moat...

Aren't Komodo dragons a throw back to the dinosaur? Those suckers (in this case eaters) can get huge. What an awful incident. I'm not too fond of lizards... we have salamanders (mudpuppies) galore!!!!... close enough to lizards (are they of the lizard family? don't know, need to look that up). Nothing worse than running to the car barefooted and stepping on one of the darn things. You can try to avoid them, but some are like opossum, they freeze mid-trip, placing themselves right in your path and under your barefoot.
