Dolphin, my prayers will remain with your son. I wonder if he's given a desk job, if he'd be interested in furthering his education. I understand the military now offers 100% education benefits for active duty E-5 and below.

Yes, Mustang, they do. In fact, before this happened he was going to do their Green to Gold program, go to college, and come back as an officer. He can't do that now that he's injured. He might be able to take some community college classes now to get him started, but maybe he hesitates because his future with the army is uncertain.

Again, thanks for everyone for your prayers. I'm going back through the prayer requests to read them and add mine for all of you.

Tell him to keep the 'I-can/will-do' attitude. My niece is a Marine. She became gravely ill after her training. They put her in a desk job, and from what I understand, she's held a good job with them ever since.

Glad it worked out for your son. Military and sheriff training really wreaks havoc on the body. I'm sure you've already told him but he especially needs to pay attention to his calcium and vitamin d intake for his hips. Pls keep us updated.

Dear Dancing Dolphin: I am so glad you have seen first hand prayer works. We serve a wonderful Father and Lord. He delights in answering our prayers and taking care of our needs. I am so glad your so was promoted. I will pray for his health issues and the Lord's protection.
