If I can perhaps relate lst about my sister who lost alot of weight:

*you would think she would be spending a ton of money to buy better clothing to show off her new self. After all, she earns a sizable income. Funnily ,she got more blase about fashion. She found that spending alot of time on winddow-shopping and buying yet more clothes, less meaningful compared to keeping fit and feeling energetic.
She did over a period of 6 months replace her wardrobe with smaller sizes, etc. But it wasn't shopping-fashion crazy.

I can confirm for myself personally, that I still enjoy fashion and makeup, etc. but I spend alot less time now in stores since I've returned to cycling regularily and also as part of our lifestyle. (since we don't have a car) I might even go for 4-5 months without checking out the latest fashions in stores.

One's priorities change abit when some fun fitness takes precedence on a regular basis.
