Not too long ago my mother was feeling unusually tired all the time and her doctor gave her vitamin B shots. One a week to increase her energy level. She said after only a couple she felt like a kid again. She now takes an oral supplement everyday.

You can supplement your vitamin with a mere 15 minutes of sunlight on your body daily. When its cloudy for a day or even longer like in the midwest in winter, they have supplements you can take orally. There are also those special lightbulbs you can buy that act as sunlight. They really work too.

Hi gals, I've got some time so thought I'd stop by, been missing you all.
Vit D deficiency may be the most important discovery for our health in quite some time. I've been blogging about the findings as they come out and I swear, if everyone got their vit D tested--only test for 25 hydroxy Vit d--we could all supplement to optimal levels and not only feel better but have greater chances of avoiding certain cancers, immune issues, recovery from illness and more.
Optimal doses are difficult for the alternative and western med docs to agree on but 1000 mgs per day seems to be prescribed by more than less of the docs I follow.
