This is one of my all time favorite threads and I had missed the last 2 pages....the photos are wonderful. And I still haven't gotten over to my Dad's house for some of mine. WHy would an 81 yearold man hang onto the family photo album like he does? I don't get it. Among the guests was a nationally renowned photographer of that time (1971). He came to me half way through the evening and asked if he could photograph me sometime that week. I remember being so thrilled and excited. He took several black & white photos. My daughter proudly displays most of them now but here is a copy of one that I have. The photo looks like an old Rembrandt oil painting. I love photos and paintings with windows. A nationally renown photograph must have recognized your beauty, Jane. That's impressive.

They were taken on a cloudy winter afternoon in an old school house that at that time had housed all the audio-visual stuff and staff for the school system. There are only about 4 others and all were given to me as huge wall photos. I would need to scan them on something big. My daughter has a couple of her favorites.
