Dotsie YES, you say the punch is spiked but it isn't and yet some that drink it will start acting intoxicated. It's a real hoot to watch. Of course you take them aside before they leave and tell them "oops, just a joke" and what a great actor they are pretending to be aniberated. Don't want to make anyone feel stupid...

Smile my suggestion is have a little bit of everything set out to eat and drink, let everyone be his/her own watchdog. I serve something for everyone, veggies, meats, cheeses, olives, pickles, fruits, nuts, deviled eggs (all mine, lol) egg nog, cakes, cookies, diet sodas, punch 2 kinds, I say one is spiked but it isn't. If they want booze they bring their own. Works for me. After all I'm throwing a party not a retreat for the impaired...LOL, that comes later....
