Awesome, QBall. I just posted about the price increase on AARP's Divided We Fail website. Maybe your friends would like to add their voices to the campaign.

I'll write a letter to Merck too. After reading the other stories here, I believe we must make a statement.

It occurs to me that this might be a gender bias. You all probably know that up until the last decade drugs were researched on MEN as the standard. I wonder if a man had to take Fosamax, would it be cheaper? They don't go through bone modifying menopause! Or am I carrying the woman-as-oppressed in our patriarchal society too far? Qball, does TX mean transplant?
