My sister called to tell me her son is currently standing on American soil, after spending the past 9 months in Iraq! Thank the Lord, he is safe and sound! She is SOOOOO happy and feels as if a weight has been lifted from her shoulders. He has to go to Camp LeJuene for a few days and should be back home on Sun. or Mon. I pray for all the sons and daughters in Iraq to come home safe and sound...... Daisygirl

She said it was like when a loved one is in the hospital, you just don't feel comfortable going out and having fun, because you're concerned and worried. Also, he is her only child and she raised him totally on her own.

I hope he comes home on Sunday or Monday so I can go with my sister to meet him. Tuesday I have a meeting I have to attend. When they come home, they drive into town with a parade of police cars and firetrucks. Daisygirl
