LOL, well, Hannelore, if you were in the biz:
You would brush your lips daily,
You would use a softish nail brush and brush your
face about once a week,
and you would use a scrub brush on your whole body about every two days.
Then, you would slather oil all over your freshy scrubbed body, over that you would put a layer of lotion that is derm approved, and over that you would put a heavy moisterizer with an SPF.

Yep.

what a life, huh?

Lord JJ!

I have always brushed my tongue but I think I get carried away because I end up gagging myself. Not a pretty site!

Jawjaw, you're a nut. And yes, your Halloween costume has all the right colors. Will you still have it on November 1st when we meet?

About brushing your lips. I have a question - what if you are using whitening toothpaste? Will we lose the color in our lips? Don't laugh. I'm serious. I'd hate to end up with flesh colored lips.

Any tips for dark circles under the eyes? I have allergies. On the days my allergies bother me allot, the darker the eyes. Make-up has helped a bit, but not allot.

I have been brushing lips too. They are soooo smooth and kissable.

Dotsie,
Your lips are completely safe. There will be no side effects from brushing them. Lips have no pores, they can't soak in anything. If it worries you, you can just use your brush, but no worries, really!
If you want to put color on those lips, just ask!

Cookie, Before I go off on a full page lecture on dark circles, I have some questions. There are different reasons for dark circles, so:
How long have you had them? Were you born with them like I was as an Italian?
How do you treat your allergies?
Are your eyes puffy AND have dark circles?
Have you tried anything besides make up?
Has your doctor seen them?
And, are your circles AROUND your eyes, or just in the corner?
I need to know all this to throw at you all the tricks I know about dark circles.

I will say this: If you are applying make up to cover them, only use the cover up in the CORNERS of your eyes. If you use it around the bottom of your eyes, you will draw attention to them. Dot the concealer in the corner of your eye and really blend it in a downward motion towards the side of your nose, not in a circle around your eye!

Again, there are MANY ways to treat them but I need to know more about them! I'm happy to tell you what I know if you can tell me more about them!
warmest regards,
dancer
