Congratulations Laurie! Oh boy did you wake memories in me. Hah! Dr. Kildare? I had a crush on him too. And I had forgotton about baseball cards snapping against bike spokes.

Great story, Laurie. It brought back some interesting memories. My granddad gave me my first soda, bubble up, I believe. Didn't like soda then, and I still don't like it now.

Lots of great memories in one little story. Cool, huh?

Anno, I wish I didn't like soda. I drink caf-free, diet and am cutting back. A friend once questioned why I drink it. He said, "If its caf-free and diet, why do you bother?" Good question. I got hooked because hubby is a diabetic so we would have diet soda in the house and then I was told I couldn't have caffeine so I started getting caf-free diet. I wish I could kick the habit.
