I didn't know the guy, but when I lived in NY, there was a congressman in the state whose name was Floyd Flake...now I'm sure we've all unknowingly voted for some flakes, but come on!

I saw a doctor's shingle once that said 'I. A. Butt'
My parents saw a hole in the wall on a trip 'Dead Pecker Inn' some residents from Intercourse went there on a trip and then moved on to Dildo...that was bad...shame on me!

Aside from my poor joke...the two names that I listed were real...one was a doctor in a small town in PA and the other was a junk joint type of place out in the country somewhere, I don't know what state but it has been a great joke in our family for years...

A business contact at my prior job's name was Future Swan... I wondered if maybe she must have been an ugly baby and her parents had high hopes... but then I found out that Swan was her married name.

My first job was in an office of a graphic arts supplier and the general manager's name was Dick. There was another manager in a branch office and his name was Harry. When Dick called Harry on the phone, well, the 4 or 5 of us young office workers would absolutely crack up laughing with tears running down our cheeks. Harry? Dick here.

Ohhhhh my gawd! You all are just TOOOO much. I haven't been on these boards in awhile, and after laughing hysterically all night reading your posts, I am gonna change THAT! Thanks for the laugh of the day! I can't compete with what ya all came up with, but I do recall that I was introduced by a well-meaning friend who said "blind dates aren't all bad," to a large fella....when I asked what his name was, my pal sheepishly told me it was "Lumpy." Will be back soon....thanks again you funny folks! Cracking up, KC

Reality is stranger than anything Hollywood could dream up. Marketplace client lists are a trip. I had customers, like: Honeydew Melon and Judy Petuddie. When traveling, I observe many cars are the same color as the houses they're parked in front of. And dogs 'n owners do resemble each other. Ciao for now, B. Rose

Marajuana and cocaine take the cake. If this was a contest, they would win hands down.

First names for myself and partner work real well as puns: Hi Jean (hygiene) Hi Jack (hijack) I knew a family who named each of the daughters Mona and Lisa. It was deliberate.
