I distinctly remember looking through those lenses and shouting "Colours, I see colours". My Dad told me years later that everyone in the room almost cried. It was the first time in my life I was able to truly see colours. Dee Member Registered: 06/27/05 Posts: 2561 Loc: Alabama	My MIL's boyfriend, Jim, who had normal vision for years developed something that caused his eye sight to diminish...he had lazer surgery in its early stages and the surgeries caused so much scar tissue that there's nothing they can do...his sight is gone in his right eye...left eye...very little forward vision and very little perreferal vision...it breaks my heart to see him struggle just to eat.
