KKathy Member Registered: 11/13/05 Posts: 20 Loc: New Hampshire	I've had OA for probably 8 years. My doctor has sent to for tests at the hospital to see how much damage to the joints has occurred. Which is pointing him in the direction of giving me RA meds. Has anyone had this progression from OA to RA? How is the RA meds affecting you?

She will probobly jump in if she sees this. I sent her some of the most recent info regarding this but am not sure where she is with it, hope you feel better.

I was just surprised that the OA meds would lead to RA meds. My mother, who passed away in 2001, was always diagnosed with OA until she went into a nursing home, which diagnosed her with RA. HMMMMM. Now I understand that sometimes OA meds just don't work anymore; so, here we go to RA meds. Will someone wake up Meredith to give me her input on the subject. Thanks ladies. Kathy

The second one is the PM tool. You can use that if you go to a post where Meredith has posted something, or you can do a search in the directory for "Meredith."
