Anno Member Registered: 09/15/05 Posts: 4434 Loc: Minneapolis Minnesota	As I have said in a few posts, I have decided to retire from teaching, so that I can spend good quality time with Dennis. Today I received great news from our school district. To help save the jobs of some younger teachers, they are offering a severance package of $25,000, to be used for health insurance, to the first 100 teachers that offer to retire. I am second on the list! This is such good news. Health insurance will cost me over 5 grand a year. This will cover me for 5 years! I have saved 15,000 myself, just for insurance, so I should be set until I am old enough to get medicare.
