I still have my pretty scarves from the 70's...could never give them up!

They make such a nice embellished touch to an outfit. If I do not have a necklace to match or may be a bit chilled, the silk (or other fabric) scarf just adds that needed 'extra' to complete my outfit.

Does anyone else wear them?

I do. I like scarves and wear them quite often. I like to fold
them in half, lay across shoulders, and put the two ends back
through the loop. I like that look!

Di,
There are SO many ways to wear a scarf! I love them in the French way.
I'll get a link...

http://www.texeresilk.com/cms-scarf_tying_guide.html

The above site tells you how to tie about any way..

I like the French way of tying scarves my mother taught me:

find a scarve you love. I like those that are rectangle for spring.

DON'T LOOK while tying it around your neck at the length that feels good.

Works every time, promise! Even two knots!

Di,
I referred to the European loop. I like that.

Dancer,
Thanks for posting the scarf-tying guide!

I love scarves and they are really hot now. All the stores are selling them.

When I went to NYC with a bunch of girlfriends, all of us bought the pashminas on the street corners as gifts and for ourselves. Last time we got together, four of the gals were wearing them. They're also warm this time of year. Love 'em.

I breeze through Marshalls on occasion. We have one nearby. Have definitely gotten some great deals there through the years.

Macys stands to gain customers as they leave the higher priced department stores. At Macys you get good design (now,) and friendly service. I've never really bought anything there but I've been there often looking and everyone has always been nice. They have given themselves a great boost by using some known designers and selling them at good prices.

I think they will see and increase.
