The marketing industry is waking up to the fact that we are a huge market for just about anything, especially fashion. Check out this article: Boomer Women Steal Spotlight During Fashion Week http://publications.mediapost.com/index....p;art_aid=48115Go boomers, go boomers, go, go, go boomers! Three cheers for boomer women.

What exactly is the difference between fashion for 35 year olds and 55 year olds? I don't see why it should be much different. Personally, I don't limit myself to any particular "segment". I don't want to look frumpy, but I don't show much skin either. Maybe it will have more midrif showing tops, but I bet the majority of 35 year olds can't wear that style either.
We grandmas don't look like grandmas anymore. I think the new store Forth & Towne should be a success since it's marketed towards 35 & up.

I love love love the new flat-heeled, rounder-toed shoes. It's not just a comfort issue, I always thought that the dagger toe stilettos were ugly. But in any case, I really think the ballerinas look cute with jeans.

They are great for killing bugs in corners! Being the Queen of Shoes, I always look for the up-side of any shoe.

I went shoe shopping (shocking) last week end. Big sale. So, while the guy is in the back finding the shoes I wanted to try on, I looked down and thought I had somehow messed up my brand new pedicure on my big toe. I touched it and half of my toenail came off!!!!! So, that means no open toe shoes for a while. I have no idea how it happened.

I came across this news article this morning, and thought I'd share it. It seems, scientifically speaking, that women dress more appealingly, more attractively, when they are ovulating...Hmmm...Does this article suggest that fertility=a fashionable woman? Would that mean that infertility=a frumpy woman? http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061010/ts_nm/science_ovulation_dc
