TheNextBigWriter.com is running its annual Strongest Start Novel Competition where writers submit the first three chapters of their novel for consideration. The prize is $500 cash and a $2,400 publishing package from BookSurge.

Their site has a mostly 40+ audience and a large number of boomer women. That's why I thought the announcement might be of interest.

I'm going to give the one on new member Marcias site a tumble:

1500 words with a deadline of March 31st. 2009...

The title is to be: ONCE A THIEF (put in subject line) and it is to be about a person who unknowingly steals a bible and the consequences, good or bad! If interested send an email with your story to:
