You'll enjoy Momma Mia too. I loved the comaraderie of the boomer women in that film.

Julie and Julia was my favorite movie of the year. How clever of that young gal to set out on that journey. And boy did it pay off for her!

I rather enjoyed "The Soloist" - a story of friendship regardless of class and diversity. I believe that many folks determine their standing based upon social accuracy and classifying people. Many times people are falsely classified by those of privilege. Thus, I found this movie refreshing.

Dotsie,
How right U R! I loved Momma Mia. Any movie that's upbeat and
musical and includes romance, 'tis 4 me! Loved it. Loved it.

Well ladies if you want to laugh your tushies off, and I mean that, go and see It's Complicated with Meryl Streep, Alex Baldwin, and Steve Martin. I thought What Happened to the Morgans was funny, at it was, but this one has it beat for total laugh out loud humor.

chatty, I'm dying to see this. I think it's a great one for boomers. I was given 30 FREE passes to the premier which was the Thursday night, the week before Christmas, and not one soul could use them. Everyone was busy doing Christmas preparations that night. They all went to waste. What a bummer. I hope to see it this week. I'll definitely blog about it. Are you going to blog about it?

To me, Meryl Streep is one of the most talented actresses I've
ever had the pleasure of watching. Gosh she's good!
