You could have the police think Mike killed her then have their ghosts trying to clear his name. That would lead to some neat scenes at the funerals and with her mother and maybe his and the police and maybe his mother could find someone there to help them. I too think it should be made into a novel, even a series of novels. At first I had the same idea as SMILES to have Mike somehow blamed for her murder, but then I thought why not have the two of them go off and help other people who have missing love ones, or even missing children, etc...they could be the avenging angels! Anyway, great story...it had me captured! JJ
