I didn't want to cover up the New Year's Eve stuff.....I'll be home then but...we're finally getting out tonight for the first time in forever! My husband is a long time blues harpist and has been invited to sit in on a few sets with a great band. So, I get to put on my dancing shoes and head for the city tonight for a change. Not a big deal to most, but for us it's been too long coming! Just wanted to share!

Yeah, well.....we never made it! SOrry a response is too late but I just noticed this old post of mine! The roads were icy that night and we thought better of driving the 25 or so miles down and back. We were having some sleet and knew it would just get worse. Weather has a way of keeping us homebound this time of year. You should see outside my window right now....a complete whiteout! I'm worried of how Frank will ever make it home later on! We're having a true Nor'easter, wind and all. Anyway, now I can't wait to put on my dancing shoes and go out! The better months make us feel like it so much more. I feel bad for him because he's gone way too long without playing his harps...and it's one thing that brings him true joy!
