With the new year approaching, I think it would be a great idea for all the married boomer women to intentionally do something to make our hubbies happy in 2006. Anyone in?

Sure, I'm in. I tried this year too, with uneven success.

At least it's better now than it used to be when the kids were young and we both worked and I didn't hardly have time to even realize we both lived in the same house together--much less the time to worry about how happy he was. Or I.

Better late than never?

Count me in! This year my plan to bless my hubby is to go on more hikes and walks with him.

And it works both ways. When he's happy, we're all happier! LOL

I'm in. I love making people smile. And my husband has the most wonderful smile of anyone.

He says he loves my smile too and he does things to make me smile all the time.

It's a good thing.

Count me in, too.

Hhuck and I went through so much with his health last year, we're really enjoying doing things for each other right now. It's wonderful to be able to share things other than trips to doctor's appointments.

I'm in...

Hubby and I are best of friends, we just never seem to have time alone.
We are always so busy taking care of everyone here, we seem to get lost.
Weekend trips alone would be nice. Or, even long day trips...I'm for more time together.

My sister gave us the Rod Stewart, Thanks for the Memories, The Great American Songbook, Volume IV CD for Christmas. It's beautiful. So many great love songs you can't believe it.

Tonight I am going to put it on the driver's seat of my husband's car with a little love note. I think it will get his day off to a good start.

Let's keep creating joy in our marriages...

I'm in too- I know I don't compliment him enough- on his cooking, his consideration for me, his going out of his way attitude towards just about everyone - so 2006 is the year I will notice and apprecate and most of all express my thankfulness for this incredible man whose MINE!!!!
