Yes ladies, Bunny Angel(my cockatiel) is finally home. I picked her up yesterday. Buddy, my little dog and Bunny like each other already. If I take her cage off the floor, she wants it back down so she can see him. He "stands" close to the cage and looks in. Buddy makes little whimper sounds to her and she rings her bell for him. It is priceless.

Thank you Reeta and Rosee, you precious little bundles of fur.
"Robin" would present an identity crisis wouldn't it speaker. I guess "Bunny" could also pose one.
I'm not sure if Buddy wants to meet her or eat her. He's just going to have watch her on pet TV.

Does your little Bunny talk? How old is she or do you know? If she is anything like Sammie what a wonderful pet she'll be.... [Wink]

Chatty, Bunny hasn't said anything yet and I don't know how old she is.(going back to see previous owner again this week) She doesn't appear to be afraid of us, just a little shy. What I find amazing? She sleeps with her head curled under and laid down on her perch. Kinda like using it for a pillow.

Vicki, Bailey and Jack, thanks for your welcome too. Vicki, I remember reading about Bailey and the day she came to you, in your blog. I enjoyed reading your Freedom story today too.

How sweet. I'm so happy you got her! Bunny...precious.

I can't let Sammie near my dogs. She is too unpredictable with that hooked bill of hers. But, I've been watching her and she drops food off the side of her cage, waits for them to start eating it, and poops on them. Don't tell me this isn't planned. Good grief.

I told this story about Sammie to the people at the nursing home and they cried real tears they laughed so hard. They are always so happy to hear of her antics, me too actually, shes a hoot... [Razz]

She is a hoot! Diz usually has a sticky spot on the back of her neck where Sammie drops grapes on her. Sammie knows the territory around her cage belongs to her and protects it. She tells the dogs, No, if they get too close. Bossy bird.

Chick, how is Bunny doing? Aren't they entertaining?

Dianne, Bunny is a funny bird. She calls Buddy and then wants to peck him, but he stays just far enough away. She got on my finger yesterday and stood proud...me too. I have patience and don't want to rush her. Do you feed grapes, whole or cut them. I am still reading up on this stuff. She's whistling right now and ringing her bell on command. I bought her a mirror and she is still getting used to that. Say hi to Sammie and the boys for us.
