Three friends and people I've worked with.
Here, BB and Eric play their guitars to a song done by John Hiatt. They recored an album together some time ago.
Here are some of the best guitar players in the world, and people I have worked with and are friends.
Hint: wish we had a music thread!

Remembering when for BB -- I saw him in Chicago in 1968-or-9, playing at a tiny venue with Steve Goodman. 50 seats or so and not even filled. I was a blues affectionado and owned dozens of albums, many of them re-releases of seminal blues works from as early as 1920. So I knew who BB was long before he became the big name he is now. I saw him 2 more times, Long Beach Blues Festival and ...somewhere else. Glad he finally got the respect he was due.

In the 1970's I went to a party at B.B. Kings home here in Vegas with Chubbie Checkers and Fats Domino. I had sung on stage with Fats and Chubby in Chicago at a friend of my husbands nightclub. B.B. King as well as the other two were such sweethearts and always charming and funny too. My boyfirend here in town many years ago was the bodyguard for Robert Goulette and I went to parties at his home as well and of course Wayne Newton had his nails done by my DIL Wendy. Both were real class acts. I also met and went to a bar-be-que at the home of Red Fox where I met Phyllis Diller, we chatted for over an hour, Phyllis was a doll but I thought Red Fox was a snob and very pro-black. Not friendly and quite arrogant. I met so many stars when working Security at Magnins on the strip. They are people just like us, same worries, same problems with kids and family. I was great friends with Liberace and visited his home a dozen times at least before he passed. Now there was a wonderful, generous, gracious human being. He was an animal lover too. Ah, memories!

Well ladies I have thousands of notes and pictures etc. for my book but because of the "truths told" in the book I write, I am waiting until my dear mother passes. Many years yet I hope! Some of the things I've done would embarrass her and possibly estrange her from me. I was a wild child, and I do mean wild...Heck, still am in some ways, old habits die hard.

Interesting....my hubby is a blues harmonica player and played the Peppermint Lounge in New York many times way back when. He spent a lot of time with B.B. King and others. Ladies, I await your books...what fun reading! dancer, it's okay to have been a wild child. There are maybe a few of us that could totally relate!! hahaha

Oops sorry everyone...no bad intention meant. Okay, I still mean what I said, minus the "dancer" beginning.
