How can I find the name of my avatar or the thingy I need to be able to post it on my Brebo site??? It doesn't show anything under my picture here in BWS. Help!!!

Did you try right clicking on your avatar and selecting "Properties" from the drop down menu (should be at the bottom)? The window that pops up should give you the Address (URL) of http://www.ctgtest.com/bws/chatty.jpg, which includes the name of your pic: "chatty.jpg"... is this what you were looking for?

I am not sure Gimster but I'll try it and then I'll know. Thanks...Tried it and nothing happened, so maybe I need something else????

Chatty, did you put this avatar up with Photobucket? That would provide the direct link you need.

Actually I sent Kathy a small photo and she did it for me, so I haven't a clue and Kathy seems to be missing during the holidays...I typed in exactly what Gimster showed me on my bebo.com site and nothing happened.

When I use this URL: http://www.ctgtest.com/bws/chatty.jpg your photo comes up. I've entered that URL in my avatar line for this forum and, as you can see, your pic comes up.

When you search www.ctgtest.com a page described as Testbed site for Crowning Touch Graphics comes up. There is a link to a Community Message Forums on that page. Were you ever a member of that forum? If yes, could you do a search under your forum name to see if a discussion about your avatar comes up to where you could get the info you're needing?

When you search www.ctgtest.com/bws a page for Ryan Walsh Photography comes up, but I can't find a link to your photo on that page.

One more thing you might try. Go to your BWS "My Home" then scroll down to the Personal information, email, password, etc. Choose to "edit" (far right on the personal info line) and right click on your avatar there. Again, after a right click on the avatar, a window will drop down, from which you'll go to Properties. The properties window will pop open and you can see the http line. Copy and paste that URL into whatever you need... be it email, thread, etc. Here's a pic of the URL to your avatar entry for this (BWS) forum:

Good Lord, talk about confusing. I did the edit thing in personal message etc. but nothing happened for me. NO, I never belonged to Crowning Touch Graphics either,but maybe Kathy did and shes the one that generously put my photo in BWS for me.
