All you do is put in a name or an artist and their music OR that particular song you put in will begin playing. Also, once the song is through, either more of that artist song will play (depending on what your chose, artist or song) and if you put in a song, then more from that same era will play. So if you chose the 60s, more from the 60s would continue to play. So I guess you might have to do that from time to time.
