Ladies,

As you know, I love humor. There is only one thing I love better and that's - HUMORIST. I've found one I believe you'd like and so I wanted to share the link. His name is Phil Callaway and he is so funny. Warning: Do not drink liquids while reading his stuff!

Go HERE to massage your heart with humor....you just have to love this guy.

PS---I taught him everything he knows.....

PSS---big fat lie, but you can't prove it.

JJ, is Phil a friend of yours?

I just spent a lot of time zapping around his site. I needed something to cheer me up after visiting my mother, who is not doing well at all.

I came upon the article, The slow goodbye. It really touched my heart; especially now, because of what I'm going through with my mom. Phil Callaway is not only funny, he's a compassionate man. I was so moved; I wrote him an email. I don't expect an answer, but maybe he will read it, and know he has one more fan.

Yes, he is a friend of mine on FB, but I just recently discovered him and his work. I wrote to him and the rest is HIStory. I was blown away by his writing.

EW...you will probably get a reply from him, no joke. He is that sort of person. I'm just so impressed by him, his 'tude toward life, and of course, his insight into the humorous parts of our lives. A good man, I'm thinking, and a really good writer.

he's married, jj!

Oh I'm not. You can never have too many friends or too many Yellow Box Sandals.

Besides, we would be trying to "out-funny" each other all the time.

JJ, you were right! Phil wrote me back! A very sweet letter, cause I blubbered in mine about his article, saying how touched I was because it reminded me of what
I'm going through with my mother. Anyway he wrote, I quote:
"I have been invited to Germany to speak, but am not sure when that will happen. I am told it is a beautiful place. Let's stay in touch."

I bet his wife is happy.

EW, sorry to hear Mom isn't doing well. Poor thing. Is it still the shingles?

We were just at the beach for a few days and came home earlier in the day yesterday so we could get to see my FIL. His best living friend died while we were gone. How sad is that? BUt in all his confusion, he doesn't believe he's gone. Just as well. We'll say nothing else. Let him bleieve as he chooses.
