Last Sunday morning we joined up a local cycling tour, "Tour de Blintz". An acquaintance of my partner was doing his first ride and wanted to make sure he had people ..cause a reporter was doin' a story.

So under the banner for the local Jewish museum and archives, we cycled only 15 kms. but visited 4 Jewish delis and restaurants where we had free tasters. ..of kosher muffins, cofee, falafel, Greek spanikapita, kinishes, etc.

The Jewish community in Vancouver is abit more "hidden", you do have to learn of these places...and so we did learn of more where we lived...by local travel.

Met some interesting people...where the tour leader's wife is an aspiring ventroloquist...hey, chickadee...

That sounds like fun and all that food tasting . I went to one hear years ago for a resturant food tasting and had so much fun and love Greek food , one of my favorite was cabbage rolled in grd beef Oh, so good . Have to read the newspaper article .
