Larry Birkhead. But the saga continues. Howard K stern will not fight for custody but Mom Fergie is thinking about it. I am interested in this because my brother's girlfriend gave her baby up for adoption and he fought for custody before his son was born.

By the time it got through the court system, they said the child could not be awarded because of the "time spent with the adoptive parents".
I am curious to see how it works in this case.

I think this whole thing is so sad . That poor baby without a mother now , but I am glad that Larry Birkhead is the father and will bring her back to the states.

I feel very sad for your brother Cick that he was not able to get custody of his child . Just my thoughts on the matter

One wonders if Anna herself knew exactly who the father was? Even if she wasn't sure, she listed Stern as the father on the birth certificate so she must have had reasons for wanting him legally know as the father.

If it was the mother's wish that Stern father the child then I say, so be it. It is Stern's child. Sentiment and legal declaration should outweigh DNA molecules.

Nicole knew who the real father was. Why else did she run to the Bahamas? Larry Birkhead is the father and should raise that child. It's his legal right and what he wants. Howard Stern was a moocher and lived off Anna.

Sorry to disagree but Anna Nicole used Howard Stern every way a woman can use a man. He was an up and coming lawyer with a prestigious law firm, and he quit to be her attorney and I think he expected much more. He adored her for years and still she kept him an arms length away, and he was her attorney in court with all the people that sued her over the years, including getting her case heard in the Supreme Court for the money she was owed by her late husband, C.J. Marshall...

I think he has gotten a bad rap, he adored her and her son and they lived as a family for more years than we now. He lost his friend/Daniel and his love/Anna...

He congratulated Birkhead when he was shown to be the baby real father. They were together during the proceedings. He and Larry made an agreement to remain friends, they were you know, friends. But became at odd's when Birkhead befriended the grandmother. Both men know how she felt about her mother....

I understand that Stern will continue to represent the child in any legal dealings....

I am just so sorry that Anna had to suffer so, losing Daniel before her untimely death. I wonder who will star in this movie???????

I read in the news that they have already chosen and actress but I don't remember who.

Why would an up and coming atty leave his practice to follow her around? He was even part of that horrible reality show she had.

When Anna first died and this whole paternity thing started up I told my husband that I thought Anna knew she had gotten pregnant by a good looking, young, not to financially stable, Hollywood photographer that she had a fling with -- and asked her lawyer/friend to be the child's father so her baby would grow up with stability and a mature father. I think Howard Stern loved Anna enough to do this for her, and is smart enough to know that if the child goes back to Larry -- being his friend will allow him to stay in the childs life. Larry may very well have known about the pregnancy all along and agreed to the arrangement -- until Anna died -- and then perhaps this child became one big money sign ????

We dont know what goes on behind closed doors, but there must have been a reason Anna wanted nothing to do with her mother and didn't want her anywhere near her child. I have to respect that and figure "grandma" is seeing dollar signs herself !

Bottom line -- I feel soooooo bad for this little girl who will grow up reeallly screwed up if the people in her life aren't extremely careful !

lion, I'm with you. I feel miserably sorry for the baby. In many ways, she was born with three strikes against her. Unfortunately, it's alwasy the kids who suffer the most.

I just really believe that Anna's mother and Stern are simply in it for the money. I do hope Larry does provide a stable life for Dannylynn.
